“I started out as a 16 year old typist working for Barclays Bank in 1977 and ended up working in Managerial Positions. My last position was as a High Performing Organisation Manager responsible for the successful turnaround of 33 branches of Barclays Bank consisting of 1,500 Managers and staff.

I have organised numerous Employee Volunteering Schemes in the BME community – e.g..
I created a Reading Support Programme that was implemented in varioius schools in Hackney and set up a Breakfast Club in Gladesmore Primary School.
I organised outings for children and adults who were HIV affected to Thorpe Park
I organised a Playground Makeover for children with special needs in Islington
I organised a Youth Centre Makeover in Clapton, Hackney
I organised trips for Help The Elderly to The Savoy Hotel for Afternoon Tea
I am the Chair for the Social Welfare and Counselling at the African
Caribbean Leadership Council
I have been the Regional London Leader for the Cultural Diversity Network in Barclays Bank
I am the Events Executive for the Black Fundraisers Network
I am the Chair for Ivy Entertainment - A Performing Arts Company
I am a Connector for Make Your Mark
I am an Ambassador for Spark/Make Your Mark - Womens Enterprise Network
I have raised over a quarter of a million pounds for various different charities
I have written several articles for The Voice Newspaper and Engage Magazine
I have appeared on BBC Radio London on The Eddie Nestor Show and The Dotun Adebayo Show
I have also appeared on The Rhoda Wilson Show - BEN TV, 'Success Strategies' Show with Zhana & The Kubi & Isaak Show on Sisterhood TV
I am featured as an Inspirational Women in the 'International Womens Month' Magazine for 2009
I have travelled to Thailand on a World Global Summit Conference for Social Entrepreneurship and to different parts of Africa on Business and Community Initiatives.
I am a Public Speaker.
I act as a mentor to people starting up their own businesses, people within the community and young children.”
