Kemi Sulola is a unique vocalist and songwriter from East London. She started singing at the age of 7 with a group of her friends.
Now 16, Kemi has performed at several credible events. In venues such as the Mayor’s Choir Festival, East Ham Town Hall, The Excel Centre, The lounge in City, Stratford Theatre Royal, Birmingham Crescent Theatre and a range of other places.
She won the Busta Rhymes Competition in 2008, an X-factor styled youth talent show that ran in the London borough of Newham. She is part of the Young and Gifted Choir and a regular face at Stratford Circus and a student at First Music Academy.
Kemi composes her own music as well as collaborating with others. Her style of music explores a range of genres such as soul, R&B, Jazz, Rock and Motown. Her inspirations come from Michael Jackson, Musiq SoulChild, Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys and these inspirations reflect in her music. She loves to inspire others and is sure to make it big.
